About the Show
India Chem 2008 is the 5th International Exhibition and Conference on Chemicals & Petrochemicals. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, presents India Chem 2008 to promote and accelerate the growth of the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical sector. The Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals has been part of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers since 1991. The Department is entrusted with the responsibility of policy, planning, development and regulation of Chemicals, Petrochemicals and Pharmaceuticals Industries.
India Chem 2008 will be held from October 20th to 22nd, 2008 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, a leading trade fair hub located at Goregaon, Mumbai, India. It is ranked as the largest chemical exhibition in India for Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Machinery / Equipment / Controls. It is also a demonstration of the emerging new partnership between Government and industry. It showcases the latest products, machinery and equipment developments in the industry for generating business and marketing. It is a platform for the transfer of technology, investments, joint ventures, research and development.
