Company
profile
General Electrodes and Equipments Limited better known as
GEE Limited as established in 1969, in technical
alliance with Messer Griesheim GmbH of Frankfurt ,
Germany for the manufacture of Quality Welding Electrodes. GEE
Limited is an ISO 9001:2000 company accredited by Det
Norske Veritas.
At GEE Limited, we manufacture an
extensive range of welding electrodes for application on General
Fabrication to construction of Nuclear Equipment. Our entire
manufacturing of the Electrodes is done at Thane where we have a 1 ton
dry mixer which is one of the biggest setup in the industry. Thus,
GEE Limited being one of the biggest Extruders has
an edge over the other manufacturers in the industry when it comes to
reliability and consistency in the quality of the product and bigger
sizes. This is possible with the joint effort of a dedicated team of
enthusiastic professionals who deliver value products that congregate
the stringent quality code requirements of various agencies and
clients. Our Products
Tubular Electrodes--->> GEECOR 90
Complex carbide tubular electrode to resist abrasion
at high temperatures Flux coated tubular electrode which gives
the user low heat input and infinite shelf life. The flux coating of
electrode is non-hygroscopic. The weld metal consists of complex high
temperature carbides, with high-stress abrasion resistance
withstanding moderate to heavy impact even at high
temperature.
Characteristics:
- Exceptional resistance to severe abrasion and moderate to heavy
impact at elevated temperature.
- Unmatched deposition rates-high integrity deposits.
- Compared to solid cored electrodes, the current requirement is
low so the dilution by parent metal is contained to a minimum.
- Non - hygroscopic coating needs no storage precaution -infinite
shelf life.
Alloy Base:
C,
Cr, Mo, V
Typical Application: Coal
burner nozzles, clinker conveyor chains, railway tampers, sizing
screens, augers, agricultural implements, rolling mill guides, heat
resistant steel castings, pump casings, I.D. fans, tie rods, pug mill
and augers, brick press screws, etc. where high stress abrasion is the
major factor of wear at high temperatures.
