This gearbox has special hollow output shaft mounted, three stages reduction, bevel helical gear reducer with solid input and special hollow output shaft. This gearbox has extra heavy duty Taper roller Bearings on output shaft to take care of the load. This Gearbox is with extra heavy (Sturdy) Mild Steel Fabricated Housing. The internals are case carburised, hardened and ground and specially profile and longitudinal corrected to achieve higher rating and low noise level. The gears are made from high tensile carburizing alloy steel and case hardened, precisely ground to accuracy class 6.

All the Gears are of helical type with case carburized, hardened and ground. The gears are made from high tensile carburizing alloy steel and case hardened, precisely ground to connect with client’s centralized lubrication system. This gearbox has extra heavy duty Spherical Roller Bearings on all shafts to take care of heavy load from Mill. Worm Planetary Gearbox for Travel Drive Elecon has successfully designed and manufactured 55kw Worm Planetary Gearbox for Crawler Travel drive application of Heavy Duty Machines for Neyveli Lignite Mines through OEM’s like Thyssenkrupp & Man-Takraf. This gearbox is combination of Single Stage Worm and Two stages of Planetary reduction. Gearbox is with Flanged output shaft for direct connection with Travel Drive. This gearbox is also with torque arm to mount the gearbox on structure of machine. Elecon has received orders for total 20 Nos. of such gearboxes.

Planetary Gearbox for Sugar Mill Drive Elecon has successfully designed and manufactured 1400 HP Planetary Gearbox for Sugar Mill Main Drive. Gearbox with reduction ration of 200/1 and output designed torque rating of 40,00,000 Nm. This is the biggest Planetary Gearbox manufactured by Elecon. Gearbox is with Reversing Drive arrangement as well as External Forced lubrication cum cooling system. Elecon have received orders for total 13 Nos. of such gearboxes.
