NTB LUBETUFF Carbon-Graphite Components

Carbon/Graphite a little known engineering material, is remarkably versatile and has a complex make-up. This gives it the desired and the rare combination of strength and lubricity. Mechanical carbon/graphite products manufactured by NTB HITECH CERAMICS include Trust Pads for Submersible Pumps, Seal Faces, Faces, Gland Rings, Vanes for Rotary Pumps, Metering Valves, Steam Joints, Piston Rings, Bearings etc

NTB has chosen Graphite with a high degree of crystallinity (treated at 2900°C). For best results, finished carbon/graphite materials often contain impregnates like resins, metals, and ceramics to add strength, increase thermal conductivity, and lower base porosity. Other impregnants include temperature stable inorganic salts to enhance oxidation resistance and film-forming characteristics.
