NTB Surya Ceramic Infra-Red Heaters
Sealed Ceramic Heaters emit electromagnetic radiation which heat the articles on which these waves impinge. In these heaters the resistance heating element is totally encased in a highly thermal shock and corrosion resistant glazed ceramic material. These operate in the 150-750°C temperature range to emit wavelengths from 2 to 10 microns, and are extremely efficient with a peak emissitivity approaching 0.94 of the "ideal" black body. This energy is readily absorbed by processed materials like water, organic solvents, plastics, paints, adhesives, ceramic, glass, metals, foods, paper etc., in heating, drying and curing operations. The "Radiant Efficiency" i.e., total amount of energy that is emitted from the ceramic Infra Red Heater is 96% which is higher than any other Infra Red Heater sources. Due to these characteristics, Sealed Ceramic Heaters enjoy major advantages over other Infra-red heat sources like; Metal foil Radiation, Quartz Tubes, Quartz Lamp, gas fired Radiant Burners, Sheathed Tubular Heaters.
NTB Ceramic Infra-Red Heaters are suitable for 230 volts. Standard Power ratings are 100-150-200-250-300-400-500-600-800-1000 Watts. Standard sizes are 245 x 60mm, 122 x 60 mm 122 x 122mm, 292 x 92mm, 125mm Diameter. NTB can manufacture IR Heaters in customized sizes, wattage and to operate at 110, 380 or 440 volts.
