NTB Textile Thread Guides
NTB CERATUFF Ceramic Thread Guides serve as pathways to guide, change direction, control tension, monitor and treat synthetic and natural, multi-filament, twisted and/or spun threads in the spinning and drawing of man-made fibers. New high speed processing machines demand high wear resistance and yarn friendly surface finishes. NTB CERATUFF Textile Thread Guides are manufactured by Slip Casting (SC), Injection Moulding (IM), Dry Pressing (DP), Extrusion (E), Iso-pressing (I), & Green Machining (GM), These can be provided with special surface finishes; Tumbled, Satin/Matt, Ground, Diamond Polished or Glazed (LPC or AL95 bodies). Glazes provide smooth, glossy finish for rayon production, and high visibility surfaces.
NTB AL995 is silica free, fine grained and homogeneous high purity AL2O3 with exceptional mechanical, surface finish properties and corrosion resistance. In some applications, NTB Titania (TL9 or Conductive TC9) are yarn friendly and are unmatched in their performance.
