Permali Wallace Pvt. Ltd. Was established in 1961 in Technical & Financial collaboration with Permali Ltd., Gloucester, UK and Chase Lowe & Co., Manchester, UK to manufacture Densified Wood based Impregnated Laminates for Engineering & Industrial Applications
In 1973 we got into a second collaboration for manufacture of glass fibre based laminates and cast epoxy parts. In 1982, we entered into another Technical collaboration with BTR Permali RP Ltd., UK for developing Sheet Moulding Compounds, Dough Moulding Compounds and components thereof.
Quality is our hall mark. An ISO 9001 company since 1997, certified by DNV of Netherlands.

The factory is spread over 9 acres of land at Bhopal in India. The premise has been divided into the following production divisions:

Production Support Facilities
In-house facilities of Tool Room exist to support production and maintenance functions. Especially equipped R&D, Lab, Engineering and Product Development division, expedite new Products Development
Full fledged Test facilities for testing of all our products for required mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Thermal requirements are available. These include special Test like Metal Detection, Partial Discharge. Heat Distortion Temperature Comparative Tracking Index etc. An independent calibration laboratory provides services for in-house calibration of metrological and process control instruments and gauges.

Densified Wood Compreg
Permali
Vacuum impregnated material based on wood veneers and phenolic resin. Components like Arc Control Pot, Tension Plates, Lifting Bar, Fish Plates Stud Nuts having application in Oil Circuit Breakers, Tap Changers, Turbo Generators, Transformers & Railways.
Permali ‘G’
Construction of Permali sand witched with glass fibre surfaces for added mechanical strength and excellent anti-tracking surface properties.
Permawood
Partially impregnated wood veneer and synthetic resin based compreg material. Components like Coil Clamping Rings, Coil Support Platform etc. having application in Transformers up to 400 KV.
Permawood “G’
Sand witched construction of Permawood with glass fibre surfaces for higher mechanical and electrical properties.
Permatred
Resin impregnated hard wearing chequered densified wood based insulated flooring material. Insulated flooring sheets having application in power stations.
Hydulignum, Jabroc/Jabroc ‘N’
Densified Wood Material for Engineering purposes. Components like Match Plates, Patterns, Jig fixtures having application in Foundries and for Neutron Shielding applications.
Glass Reinforced Composite
Permaglass
Glass reinforced laminates and components thereof based on epoxy, polyester, phenolic, melamine, silicone, polyimide and other modified resin systems. Prepregs, semiconducting materials and cotton fabric based laminates. Components like mounting panel, Operation Rod, Base Plate, Studs, Nuts having application in Circuit Breakers, Rectifiers, Generators, Motors, etc.
