TATA Bearings, a division of TATA Steel is one of the India’s largest manufacturers of quality bearings and auto assemblies. Certified to ISO 9001:200/QS 9000, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 - 1999 certificate for conforming to Occupational Health & Safety Management Standards, the division manufactures over 30 million bearings. Tata Bearing has successfully Challenged the TPM Award from JIPM in 2004 and is the only bearings’ Manufacturer in India to win the PM Award from Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance.

TATA Steel’s Bearing Division was setup in the year 1978 with technology from SNR, France. The Plant is at Kharapur, 120 km from Kolkata, in Eastern India.
