Carbon Grafite (Centri-Cleaner Cones)NTB HITECH CERAMICS Offers Sintered & Resin Moulded Carbon - Graphite Seal Rings for Chemical/Water Pump Mechanical Seals in "Pressed - to- Size" parts, as Resin Moulded parts, in Iso-pressed Sintered and/or Impregnated Cylindrical Shapes or Sintered Solid Rods for final Machining by the customers.

Industrial Carbon & Graphite applications are typically dictated by high temperatures, contact with corrosive fluids, & self- lubricating properties of Carbon/Graphite in oil and contamination free "Food/Drug" environments. The nature of manufacturing process for Carbon & Graphite results in porous & permeable shapes. Several impregnates are available to stabilize or enhance the physical, chemcial, electrical & thermal properties. Carbon/Graphite a little known engineering material, is remarkably versatile and has a complex make-up. This gives it the desired and the rare combination of strength and lubricity. Mechanical carbon/graphite products manufactured by NTB HITECH CERAMICS include Trust Pads for Submersible Pumps, Seal Faces, Faces, Gland Rings, Vanes for Rotary Pumps, Metering Valves, Steam Joints, Piston Rings, Bearings etc.

NTB has chosen Graphite with a high degree of crystallinity (treated at 2900°C). For best results, finished carbon/graphite materials often contain impregnants like resins, metals, and ceramics to add strength, increase thermal conductivity, and lower base porosity. Other impregnants include temperature stable inorganic salts to enhance oxidation resistance and film-forming characteristics.
