APW President Systems Limited began in 1981 as President Systems, a small scale partnership firm. In the first 3 years the company introduced Card Frames (sub-racks), 19" Floor Standing cabinets, Table Racks, Instrument Cases, and a whole host of accessories for each of these product groups. These were all made to the 19" standard and conformed to the DIN 41494 specification.
