Girth Gears

The uniqueness of girth gears is that these gears are made in multiple segments. For this reason they are also known by the name of Split ring gears/ Split rings among industrial users. The multiple segments of these gears can be of two, four or eight equal sizes. To join the segments together, well defined bolting arrangement is utilised.

These gears are specially designed with standard specification and also in multiple segments for easy assembly/material handling. Gears manufactured by us are widely used in applications like:
