or stainless steel material such as Ferritic,
martensitic, Ferritic, Austenitic, Super-
Austenitic, Duplex and Super-Duplex.
Electrodes For MMA Welding:
ESAB's stainless steel stick electrodes have
acid-rutile type of coating that gives smooth
and stable arc action on both AC & DC, with
a minimum of spatter and a very fine spray
metal transfer. The basic coatings are mainly
used for applications with the most rigorous
requirements relating to weld metal
properties, such as low temperature impact
strength. The quick freezing weld metal
makes basic electrodes suitable for welding
in all positions. Apart from normal sealed
plastic carton packing our stainless steel
electrodes are also available in VacPac®
There the electrodes are vacuum packed.
Solid Wires For MIG / TIG:
Due to development of new filler wires and
welding equipment, the use of MIG /TIG for
stainless steel welding has increased
substantially. Esab India Limited offers
various grades of MIG / TIG solid wires for
applications in Automobiles, Railways,
Chemical Industry and medium and large
Fabrication Units. The MIG wires are
available in standard spool packing whereas
TIG wires are available in 5 Kg. cut-length
packs.
Wires & Fluxes For Saw:
The SAW process is a highly productive welding process used for joining or cladding. ESAB has developed a complete range of wires & fluxes for SA Welding and Electroslag Cladding of stainless steels.
Flux-Cored Wires:
ESAB has successfully developed positional stainless steel flux cored wires that can increase productivity when compared with many of the other processes. The rutile flux-cored stainless steel wires are recommended for use with a mixture of Argon & CO2 as a shielding gas and are available in standard spool packing.
