S.D. Fine-Chem Ltd. (SDFCL), established in 1978, started as a manufacturer of laboratory chemicals. By 1987 we crossed the threshold of success to become one of the largest producers of Laboratory Chemicals in South Asia. Presently, we have two factories—one in Maharashtra and the other in Gujarat in India, with a total built-up area of 20,000 sq. mts.

Quality has always been the main focus at SDFCL and our relentless drive towards attaining the highest levels of quality have ensured that our product specifications are of international standards.
The use of "Statistical Quality Control Methodology" as a management tool has enabled us to maintain strict control at all levels of production. Keeping in mind the fast changing times, our sophisticated QCD consisting of latest computerised instruments like Plasma Emission Spectrometer, UV Spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC with PCI Integrator, FTIR (Shimadzu) etc., ensures precision of our analysis.

Research & Development

R&D has a wide share in the phenomenal success and growth of SDFCL. To our credit, we are recognized by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Our well equipped set-up including updated modern library facilities provide scope to qualified and experienced scientists to work in a free and competitive environment, resulting in the development of a broad range of products. The most noticeable ‘‘achievements’’ of R&D are the import substitutes like HPLC and Spectroscopic grade solvents, pH paper range and pyridine free KF reagent (single solution), to name a few. Our current emphasis on Biochemicals will go a long way in enabling Indian scientists to accelerate their Research and Development work.
