Popular Tags is a grouping at the broadest level to identify a Product or a Service and includes all related Product Categories* or Product Classifications** (refer to explanations given below for Product Category and Product Classifications). Every user signed in to MyThomex can tag & retrieve their searches, and based on cumulative log of all signed in users the most popular tags are shown on the Home Page cloud.

Industry Verticals Search

The Industry Verticals Search is an easy and convenient route to explore products grouped together by Industry Verticals - drill through four-tiers in an instant - Vertical, Chapter, Category or Classification grouping to compare alternative products and supplier sources.

Industry Verticals / Tier 1- This is a grouping of various products that are used in a commonly identified Industry - i.e. Electricals & Electronics Industry - Products used in the industry are grouped together for the convenience of buyers to browse information on the Vertical Electrical & Electronics in one place. The Industry Vertical is the first Tier of this 4-Tier drill down structure.

Chapters / Tier 2 - Each Industry Vertical is broken down by Chapters within the vertical of ease of navigation - i.e. the Electrical & Electronics Industry Vertical has Chapters like Automation & Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical Motors & Components etc., as easily identified sub-grouping within the Vertical - Electrical & Electronics.

Category / Tier 3* - A Product Category is a broad grouping of similar products classifications - Actuators is a product category within the Segment Automation & Controls - i.e. The Product Category Actuators may contain numerous different types of actuators like Electrical Actuators, Part Turn Actuators, Electro Mechanical Actuators.

Classification / Tier 4** - A Product Classification is the grouping of products that identifies an exact product / Service that a buyer is searching - i.e. Electro Mechanical Actuators is the exact product a buyer is searching.

The Product Information page available on clicking the symbol will provide information a wide range of products within an Industry Vertical or a Chapter of the Industry Vertical.

  • eBrochure Gold
    eBrochure Gold - The symbol eBrochure Gold indicates that there is detailed Product Information of high quality available relating to a particular Product Category and covers more than one Product Heading in the eBrochure - i.e. eBrochure of Pumps may include many different types of pumps like centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, fire pumps, chemical pumps etc.

  • eBrochure Silver
    eBrochure Silver - The symbol indicates that the eBrochure has detailed Information relating to just one specific Product Classification - i.e. the eBrochure will cover information on one specific type of pump i.e. centrifugal pumps.

  • eBrochure Blue
    eBrochure Blue - indicates that Product Description is available but may be limited to a certain level for a Product Classification.

  • eListing Silver
