The second day of Elecrama witnessed a huge turnout of visitors. While the credit goes to IEEMA for putting up such an impressive show, the heavy turnout underscores the importance and popularity of the electrical and electronics sector.
The Elecrama on its 2nd day started off with a large turnout of visitors. Visitors started thronging into the exhibition venue early in the day and the volume kept increasing as the day progressed. Undoubtedly the credit goes to IEEMA for putting up such an impressive show, and the heavy turnout also speaks volume of the importance and popularity of the electrical and electronics sector.
One of the top of the line cables and wires manufacturers, Polycab, had set up a huge stall at the exhibition. Sonal Jaisinghani, Marketing Executive, Polycab said, “Polycab is the only company in India to offer 60kV capacity cables for electrical transmission, and we are looking forward for extensive diversification in the domestic and International market’’. Sonal said that they are exploring new grounds and are using the platform provided by IEEMA to reach to a vast audience.
“Polycab has undertaken diversification in manufacturing high voltage capacity cables and wires to meet the increasing demands of the Indian customers. And at the same time extend the export potential to other locations abroad as well,” Sonal said when asked about the benefits from participating in this grand event. She also said that in this edition of Elecrama they have already acquired clients from Dubai and UK and that their expectations from Elecrama have gone high.
Apart from the Indian exhibitor, Hyosung a Korean company has enjoyed a rapid growth in the Indian market since it entered the market in 2004. The Company has interests in high voltage UHV Power Transformer & EHV Power Transformer, Shunt Reactor, Substation Equipment, Distribution Control system, Fuel Cell System, etc.
Participating at the show, Hyosung has been able to procure substantial orders from top of the line corporate like Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd., NTPC, Delhi Transco, Maharashtra Transco, Reliance Energy, to name a few.
Intertek Testing Services, a safety certification provider for a wide spectrum of industries, has also set up their stall (Hall-6) in this Edition of Elecrama. Abhishek Chhabra, Manager Sales, said that Intertek has vast client pool which includes food, electrical, electronics, and other industries which need safety certification. “Intertek is capable of proving any certification with precise accuracy,” he said.
Till the time of filing this report (which is late afternoon) there has been a continuous stream of visitors to this evidently popular electrical and electronics trade show.
